50 Comments on “Creating sliders with the Customizr WordPress theme”

  1. Are you trying to teach, or inform us youtubers? If so you need to GO Way
slower so we can keep up…. Thumbs down… DId learn one bit…I don’t
understand you guys you have these weird loud backgroud music and then you
go so fast with the mouse …God .. Please

  2. Thanks, I was stumped at how to add a slider. could be an idea to add a way
to create sliders from the settings or appearance tab.

  3. We know that YOU know how to do it, but the point of a video is a tutorial,
    so SLOW DOWN

  4. Appearance – Customise – Front Page – Slider Options – Not default, you
    wont see no changes

  5. wordpress im working with doesnt have the simple click yes, or no to make a
    slider

  6. “Thanks” for being so fast!! That’s really great for those who have no idea
and are doing this for the first time :-o

  7. Ma poi volete scrivere in questi schifosi se sono per blog o per siti? ogni
volta c’è da diventare matti!! ma siete proprio degli incapaci!!!

  8. ho scelto questo tema e me ne pento, non si capisce una mazza di come si
    usa

  9. I get how to do it, but the images are stretched WWWAAAAYYYY out and look
like crap. What size are the pictures supposed to be, anyway?

  10. Nice ad – very nice – but is there an actual instructional video somewhere?
Some clues about sizing the pics would be a big help.

  11. Far too fast! You may be able to work at that pace, but think of ordinary
    mortals. . .

  12. Is this theme only good with 1200x500px sliders? I’ve tried some bigger
ones just because 1200×500 is quite low res. but it all shrinks in a funny
    way.

  13. New Customizr Theme tutorial : how to create a slider and display it on any
    page or post.

    Easy!

  14. It’s a very interesting way to teach a technical skill like this. As an
instructional designer and author, I’d find this more effective if you
preceded the fast-paced video with a brief explanation of the principle
that sliders are created from images, not from posts or pages. You have to
create the post or page, then go to the image library and create a slider
from the image you wish to associate with the post. This is not clearly
explained. Nice sound track though. 🙂

  15. yah, imho, still too fast, I would slow it down to less than 1/2 speed of
what it is now, some of us have to squint to see the correct button to
push. 🙂 could you throw up a link to the music band? great music!

  16. Thank you for this video… I was stuck on how to replace the demo
    slider… Cheers!

  17. heyy its working fine 🙂 but, dose it possible the sliders changes in
different styles ?? it is just passing left and new one comes, but i want
something more cool like “header image slider” plugin how can i do so ???
    please help

  18. Oh! Just figured it out. For anyone else who might be having the same
problem just go to “Front Page” and turn off “Demo Slider”

  19. Hi, great video, quick fingers too!! How do we insert a slider into the
body of a page inbetween text and control the size of it?

  20. Is there an option, to add an URL to the showed pictures? And how could i
    change the slide effect?

  21. The default slider still appears on my site? How my might I go about
disposing of that and putting up my new one?

  22. The original slider is still going on the main page… how do I get rid of
that and replace it with my own instead??

  23. Where did the slider options come from? LoL this is a free theme? Do I need
to upgrade to see the options? download a extra plugin My media section
    only has picture upload options

  24. Hey Niclas, my pictures in the slider is always to big. I can`t see the
whole picture only a little part of it. What is the right size ? I don`t
    find it right now.

  25. Ok understood. Your feedback is very interesting Michelle! It will help me
improve my next videos tutorials. Best regards, Nicolas

  26. Nicolas. Great WordPress Theme. Just helped my attorney use it for his new
    website.

  27. Hi Michelle! Some parts (like adding the second and third slides) are
intentionally fast because redundant…may be too fast? Anyway, the most
important thing for me is : did the video help you understand how to create
a slider with Customizr? Many thanks for your feedback! Nicolas
