  1. Amazon is the Wal-mart of online markets. Also I've been going on Amazon because I can read reviews, fast shipping, and flat-rate and free shipping. I was the bookie, the person searching for books; you can have previews on the books before buying and a competitive list of second-hand vendors. It is convenient and idiot-proof. Their return policy is also unheard of, nearly guaranteed on most if not all items within a long window of time. And then buyers get to rate the sellers so there's a constant feedback loop and incentive to improve service. It's like ebay 2.0…

  2. The whole point of investing in a business is that by using your capital they can grow profits larger through economies of scale, exclusion, etc. Just growing your top line, expanding, and not growing your EPS is asinine. Amazon does not have a plan for growing larger profits. It only has plans for growing sales. You don't dive into the food business trying to increase profits. You do it to increase sales. Their viable and profitable businesses will be spun out and the online sales Goliath will implode under its own weight. Alibaba has a much better business model and is profitable.

  3. We're too busy to shop in stores. I rather play with my kids instead of spending my free time buying groceries and clothes shopping.

I love Amazon Prime NOW. ? In fact, just got 7 gallons of water, various vegetables, and cold medicine in 1 hour. Delivered to me. With a few clicks on my phone.

  4. Hi Valuetainment, thank you for all the work you put into thsese videos – having access to so much wisdom and experience helps a lot.

  5. I love your videos but I have to come down on you about this one. You talk about Amazon as if they are a great thing and good for the economy but you are wrong. I own an online retail business and they have destroyed my business. I have been in business 14 years and had a built it into something very successful until a few years ago. They have basically put me out of business. Plus several of my friends who own online businesses. We are all on the verge of going under. So no… They are not a good thing. We worked very hard to build our businesses to what they are today and this company is Destroying the retail market place in this country. Pretty soon you will not have any online choices… Amazon will be the only online seller.
