  1. What about editing the actual elements rather than styles, for example i
have a default warning message: “Sorry no posts yet” I want to change or
translate it to my language, how do i do that?

  2. This didn’t really help at all. It should be named “How to Turn the Border
of a Box In WordPress Black”

  5. Awesome description of a great looking tool. Thanks for showing how you use
it. Didn’t know this was available!

Another tutorial suggest hovering over an element and right-clicking to
    activate Firebug.

  6. Awesome Vid Lisa! I changed the color of my menu tab and also the code on
the editor style sheets, but for some reason when I use a different
Internet browser for example chrome, it was still the same. And I check the
codes on chrome and it was the same as firefox just that the appearance
    wasn’t changing. Please help.

  7. Hello Lisa, when I make the changes using firebug, everything works fine in
firebug, but then I go to appearance editor in the Style.css file in
wordpress and the code is not the same. So I can’t find the elements in
wordpress which I want to change. Can you help please.

  8. Soooo helpful. Really like your articulate and bubbly delivery of the
    tutorial too.

  9. Nice Video. Instead of modifying Stylesheet you should modify an overriden
subset of the stylesheet with a custom css plugin or child theme.
With what you are doing, any theme update is going to result in loss of all
    your work.
