Support the Kickstarter campaign to build a statue of Nikola Tesla (with free Wi-Fi) at http://www.teslastatue.com or http://kck.st/ZWLzgG. Long before there was a car or even a Silicon Valley, there was a human being who deserves more recognition.

It is a little bit disturbing hearing Tesla with the Russian accent!
Yep, pretty much describes the asshats on Sand Hill Road, to a "T".
real interesting
cool
tell me to a greater extent
can you give more illustration?
what should be the #1 take away from this vid?
Why Tesla have Russian akcent, whan he was Serb ?
This is just great ! Got the same experience, with fund-rising for my startups.
So good. Thanks .. this made my week.
This is EXACTLY what its like to " Pitch " VCs / Investors here in Chicago = A COMPLETE WASTE OF YOUR TIME! Don't insult yourself as the " VCs/Investors"
will with QUESTIONS/ATTITUDES just as demonstrated in the ACCURATE Cartoon.
Don't waste your time!
Nikola Tesla was a Serb. He was a son of Serbian priest, orthodox confession.
I got no further than that immense crash at the start, thanks for that.
It is no wonder that the US economy is in the toilet 🙂
So I'm late to this, but still no +Matthew Inman comment? 🙁 Don't see it on his Google+ feed either. Perhaps he didn't think it was that funny…
Free Energy sold out to War machine. Dig it.
Not true. $ is the greatest motivator for all the inventions
Very very true !!!
I know some entrepreneurs who will see this and experience PTSD while laughing their asses off.
Check out Cota from Tech Crunch Disrupt Battlefield 2013. Wireless energy transmitter, complete with accent
LOL I love those VCs
It is so unfortunate that morron's run this world, Tesla had it and was willing to share, but morron's did not understand nor ever they will.It is a part of biological malformation in human core
The meeting was a little TOO REALISTIC for it to be played by cartoon figures. 😉
Not Russian but Serbian 🙂
Great!
…and those skeptic VC-ies
ha ha, couldn't stop laughing
Good Video!
Ps: I never had a Russian accent !
Ah, why not kickstart an actual energy transmission tower, instead of a statue?
VCs are basically retarded monkeys — throwing shit at a wall until something sticks.
VCs wouldnt know a good idea or a genius like Tesla if he bit 'em in dey ass.
Brilliant. This video should be required viewing for every VC and everyone who pitches VC. I've heard these same stupid questions asked so many times that I can't stop laughing.
Li-Fi is a label for wireless-communication systems using light as a carrier instead of traditional radio frequencies, as in Wi-Fi. The term was first used in this context by Harald Haas in his TED Global talk on Visible Light Communication.
