Spotlight on Issues Affecting Women Entrepreneurs

According to the inaugural Bank of America Women Business Owner Spotlight, women entrepreneurs are split on whether the glass ceiling directly affects them, with 46 percent saying they have felt limited by the glass ceiling at some point in their careers. The majority of women entrepreneurs believe they have the same access to key resources as men, however, 28 percent of women entrepreneurs still feel they do not have the same access to capital as their male counterparts. The YouTube Live panel, taking place in October to coincide with National Women’s Small Business Month, will explore these key issues with a panel of female small business experts that will provide you with information, strategies and tips on issues affecting women entrepreneurs. The panel will be moderated by CNBC’s Carol Roth, and will feature panelists Maisha Walker (NAWBO) and Erin Andrew (SBA).
