Web Design HTML vs WordPress Which is Better?

HTML vs WordPress, which one is better for web design? If you’re a web designer today to be honest you’ll need to know HTML/CSS and WordPress as well as several other skills to be successful.

However there are valid reasons to use HTML or WordPress over the other depending on the situation and what you are trying to accomplish. I prefer for my own business website to prioritize HTML and PHP instead of content management system.

However for a larger website/article based site or magazine or blog obviously WordPress and content management systems are superior. But one of the issues with WordPress is that there are some security risk when using free plugins and widgets. These can also break the look and feel of your website.

If you need to build a website, regardless of whether you are using HTML or WordPress I recommend a few web hosting companies that I use for my sites and sites I’ve worked on with clients:

  1. Sorry but you should not make videos about this topic. You are so confusing for beginners and not helpful for anybody who is beyond a beginner.

  2. Thanks for all the amazing tips Roberto. Maybe you can checkout my channel. Any advice is
    more then welcome.

  3. Dude I fucking love you. I just finished a 2-month Front-End course and had more questions than answers after it finished. Now I know what direction to go in.

  4. What I'm getting from all these videos of WP vs HTML, frameworks, etc, is that if you're going to work for someone else you have to code, if you're a freelancer then WP is the choice. Time is gold.

  5. Please i need some insight from you. I want to build a WordPress website and my goal is to build the entire front end from scratch without a theme so i can have complete control of the entire look and feel (UI/UX) of the website. Please is this possible and how can i achieve it if it's possible.

  6. Hi Roberto & everyone,
We are planning to build a website for a resort and water park which has atleast 10 pages each or even more. Plus we also need to have booking integration via credit/debit card as the primary objective to drive reservations. One of the developers is recommending us HTML 5.0 with control panel. He says that the website will be really sleak and with the control panel, we can add/edit images & content without technical knowledge.
I am really confused if we should go with this as I personally prefer WordPress. Pls advise..

  7. Hi Roberto! Thanks for the content! I am starting a web design business now and i have made a system/process that i will use on every single client. WordPress combined with Elementor pro and premium themes that fits my clients niche. I cant wait to get started. Do you have any videos on how you would promote such a service?
