  1. great video, i am a complete newbie in java but seeing my little programs
on myjailbroken ipad motivatesme to create something nice… can you do a
video how to make an ipa out of the code?

  2. Thanks. Go to Codename One’s website and click the Server menu option. Once
you sign in/up after a build your IPA will be downloadable from there.
There are many additional tutorials and resources on that site.

  3. i have developed a java applet using eclipse, it will be really cool to
render it to the mobile devices like iphone too. I want to do it with
minimum effort, is there anyway i can do it without writing the whole code
    again?

  4. man codename one is so cool, i am checking out your tutorials and i am
really impressed. Will codename one convert my java byte code for all the
mobile platforms? One code for both android and iOS? too good to be true

  5. i already have the license, I wrote my iphone app in objective C and the
thing is i really dont have time to write the code again in other language
or using other API. Also I have heard apple don’t like it when developers
use third party APIs. Its weird I know, maybe just a rumor. Anyway I wanted
an app because java applets don’t run on mobile phone browsers. Thx for
    your time.

  6. Thanks. No you don’t. We have Mac’s and PC’s in the cloud with all the
necessary software installed, they build the native application for you.
Check out the Codename One website and discussion forum for more
    information on this.

  7. In that case Codename One should be pretty easy for you to pickup. You can
talk to us in the discussion forum if you run into anything we are always
happy to hear feedback good or bad.

  8. While this will probably be the path of least resistance, don’t expect it
to be trivial. You need to obtain an iOS developer license from Apple and
you need to code your application to the Codename One API.

  9. Hai Shai, good tutorials, I’m impressed! Do I have to install the native
    SDK too?
