Since installing a WordPress update "Simple Subscribe" no longer works correctly. Sometimes new people don't show up on our list of subscribers. Sometimes, for those who do show up, the "active" column in the csv spreadsheet lists them as a 0 and not a 1. As a result they don't receive the daily email link to the blog. They say they are not receiving a confirmation email once they subscribe. Any ideas? (We HAD been also having a problem with "Contact Form 7", but that now works fine.)

Hello Josh, Your video on the Hueman theme is very well presented and I have learned a great deal. I am building this site for a friend and am using this theme. Is there a way to this …? I have Home, About Me, Blog, as well as others on my Top Menu Bar. I have categorized my blog posts so they scroll vertically down underneath the "Blog". What I want to do is have my categories display horizontally underneath the "Blog" and my posts scroll vertically down from each category. Can this be done? If so, how? I would also like to put eCommerce on this site. Can this be done? If so, how? One last question….. Is there a way to do this …? The same way a featured image is set in posts, can a featured video be set in posts? If so, how?

+Bernadine Sewell Hey Bernadine, you need to make sure you download the Hueman theme from http://alxmedia.se/ and not the wordpress theme directory. The version from alxmedia.se should allow shortcodes while they aren't available with the wordpress directory version.
