you can use any hardware that you can use it on native but you need to build custom cordova plugin for that.
so… to summarize Native is best for the user but html5 is best for the developer.
Swift is now open source, perhaps it means its no longer a native app to IOS. Theoretically, I should be able to make an app for Android using SWIFT ?
If you want high-performance app go with Native, if you want compatibility with shit performance and UI go with hybrid
One aspect you didn't take under consideration, non-native apps always adds extra stuff hence it increase the size and affect the performance
But in today's world, HTML 5 APPS can access hardware as well using plugins. Please correct that.
