This is cool and all, but honestly every city claims to have a great tech scene and claims to be a "silicon _". I have lived in Lincoln, it doesn't have any more of a hot tech scene than any other place. After moving to Seattle which truly has a massive tech startup scene second only to Silicon Valley I have to laugh at what people in Lincoln think is such a unique tech environment.
as long as it is in America.
Fan TAS tic! I enjoy Lincoln and visit there for my parents. I've noticed the stores getting hipper (Whole foods, Trader Joes, Fresh Thyme) and the downtown area being reinvigorated. What I would REALLY like is a decent home on an affordable scale, something you can't get in CA, Seattle or Portland.
