This is an introduction to HTML using Notepad. While some prefer to use a WYSIWYG editor, HTML can be a great benefit if you want to modify your MySpace profile, embed video clips on your blog, etc.

  1. When i go to my page it says the server was not found, i'm on firefox, didn't work on other website

  2. is this the same as Xhtml? Is xhtml the most up to date code to learn for web design?

  4. when creating the text file and renaming it with .htm or .html it does not change it to a webpage. I read thru the comments and a lot of people have this problem but no one seems to answer it. any help.

  19. I learned this stuff back in the mid 1990s/90s. I used Pico/Nano, Notepad, SimpleText/TextEdit, etc. by hand!

  20. wow thx so much for this tutorial!!! Finally found help to understand HTML a bit better… it had to sink in and never did before. Now i think i can give it a try 🙂 shame i havent found this tutorial easlier 🙁 but better late than never 🙂 again thx!!! Great job!!!

  21. ok so im running windows vista as my OS and none of this ever shows up when I open up internet explorer. Any solutions anyone?

  26. i got everything on that video apart from the picture i put it in but it wouldnt show up on the website got any ideas????
