  1. I don't know… I don't trust the technology behind digiscents, but if they could safely generate thousands of scents, I think it would be an absolute hit. Chances are though it's just a box that sprays out a small sample of scents, if and when a website gives it instructions to.
Be somebody might not work as it is, but the concept is fairly sound. Maybe if guy tried to think of another approach to reach the same sort of goal. We already have sites that are similar. Meetup.com being the closes that I can think of, fiverr and the various online course websites sort of touch on the underlying mission.

  2. Am I the only one that liked the smelling idea? Could be an easy accessory in the VR market. Or imagine the marketing potential. Coustumers can browse the website for a local restaurant and smell what the Rock… I mean chef is cooking. Or what about helping to sell fregances, candles, perfumes, or cologne online? I don't think the idea failed but the people behind it did.

  3. Sometimes really charismatic people can get into a room with an investor, and everybody walks out thinking it's a great idea, but then money "burns in flames". One needs to be passionate, but look at economics equally. If you have a good idea, make sure you deliver on your promises. Have a solid business model (Business Model Generation by Alexander Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur).

  4. i wish i could talk to this guy about my business i'd hate to go through such an embarassment as these companies.
i'm trying to deliver groceries to ppl homes (hope it works)

  5. Can you post the link to products you recommend in the video description… my phone screen is tiny and pausing the video at the right spot to see what I'm looking for is a pain (I'm lazy)

  6. The smelling device is not a bad attempt because it adds an additional sensation to entice you to purchase an item. Like popcorns at movies. Just no real way to do it.
