Worry upfront and then make a decision. You will doubt yourself less and become free.
This is a concept that America should have grasped and taught children a long time ago! Worrying the right way stops much of the problems that seem to be so common today! Great message Pat!
still going- I love this perspective. I feel I too worry too much, but won't anymore, due to this perspective. Thank you pat.
Rather than making a decision and worrying about the consequences. Worry first about the consequences and then make a decision. Start doubting yourself less.
That's a neat message. I never thought of worry in that way.
true
I had a brief conversation with my kids about this concept. I appreciate the idea of using the mental energy BEFORE making a decision. My daughter decided she likes the words "think ahead" better than "worry".
Episode #17 – Worry upfront and then make a decision, not the other way around.
Yes, definitely have a anxiety disorder, i worry so much i can't sleep at night and it starts again in the morning! I like this a lot but I know for me I need to decrease how much i am worrying also.
Takeaway: worry upfront before you make a decision to avoid the poor consequences it could have.
What a great concept. It kind of goes along with something my AP Physics teacher used to say, "Suffer now or suffer later. If you wait to suffer, the suffering is usually much worse, but if you suffer up front, it is much less."
we worry in the wrong order
1.worry if u can do it
2do it
dont do(everyone does this)
1do it
2worry(doubt)
Lesson: Worry upfront. Look at the negatives before you make your descision. Ask what if.
I'm going to start doing this….
Lesson 17 | Do you worry in the right order?
– Majority of the time we make decisions then worry (eat tasty food then worry about gaining weight)
– We need to worry first then make decisions
Worry upfront
Hello stoicism
