“SKINCENTIAL SCIENCES, a company with an innovative line of cosmetic products marketed as a way to erase blemishes and soften skin, has caught the attention of beauty bloggers on YouTube, Oprah’s lifestyle magazine, and celebrity skin care professionals. Documents obtained by The Intercept reveal that the firm has also attracted interest and funding from In-Q-Tel, the venture capital arm of the Central Intelligence Agency.

The previously undisclosed relationship with the CIA might come as some surprise to a visitor to the website of Clearista, the main product line of Skincential Sciences, which boasts of a “formula so you can feel confident and beautiful in your skin’s most natural state.”

Though the public-facing side of the company touts a range of skin care products, Skincential Sciences developed a patented technology that removes a thin outer layer of the skin, revealing unique biomarkers that can be used for a variety of diagnostic tests, including DNA collection.”

  1. if your not a criminal/terrorist/political activist/Muslim/gun owner or anything deemed problematic there is nothing to worry about

  2. I think this is another waste of  Taxpayers Money and a Plot to Criminalize more People by getting the DNA and Planting it at a Crime Scene !

  3. why not create a company that does DNA collecting and feeds it to our vanities, like 23andme does. We even pay for this invasion of privacy!  Yes, I did a DNA test.

  4. From Urban Dictionary:

Keyhole: "The appearance a woman's anus and vulva make when she's bent over nude. It is further enhanced if the woman's butt cheeks are spread open.
Dude, Debbie was teasing me last night and I totally saw her keyhole when she bent over for me!"

  5. As usual, TYT adds nothing to the bare bones news and doesn't even tell you much of that.

  6. I've heard people use the argument, "If you have nothing to hide," then it's okay for them to spy on you… It still makes me wonder though… I have been falsely accused of things before and spent 11 months locked up because of it… just sayin…

  7. Cenk, would you have liked them to smear that cream on your face when you were in custody for protesting? I would think not. Just saying.

  8. I'd be a lot more worried about this tech development than the panel seems to be. I find it terrifying. What prevents the CIA from setting up fake beauty salons across the nation to collect every patron's DNA under the guise of "National Security." Don't laugh they've performed operations before that aren't too far off from the above scheme.
