  1. How was a single drink company able to afford the sponsoring of these big events? They had 1 drink which wasn't that popular to begin with, where did all their money come from to sponsor and own so many events? They even own a successful F1 racing team, there's no way a single drink was generating that much money to pay for all this?
Its always puzzled me particularly after watching your Nike/Jordan video. You mentioned how Adidas an established and successful company couldn't afford the Jordan shoe deal yet Red Bull a startup company is earning so much it can purchase F1 teams? Something doesn't add up! i

  2. The thai version of Redbull is super sweet, is not carbonated and don't have caffeine. In other words, it's bloody useless. I can't get a caffeine rush from drinking that.

  3. i knew Salzburg was Mozart 's birthplace now i know it is also Red Bull 's birthplace. Thank you for an interesting story.
What about Loreal company. Born in 1909, still going strong despite plenty of competition

  4. FLUGTAG was not invented by red bull – This is BULL. The Moomba bird man rally has been going in Melbourne Australia since 1976. Unless there is another in the world it was copied from here.

  5. Hmm…wouldn't the Austrian guy have been better off if he did a chemical analysis on the thailand drink and made his own therefore keeping all the proceeds to himself?

  6. hey tom really its amazing and most attractive way of learning……. it actually made me to pay attention more than in the class rooms which even made the concepts more clearer in modern latest tycoons, giants style…. love you tom……!

  7. Hey Tom!

Love your content its really interesting to watch all these companies upbringing and falls! The really neat thing to remember is most of these companies didn't just pop up overnight and took years and decades to develop in what they are today or not here at all.

The toys r us story was one that I really enjoyed and couldn't believe their shortfalls.

I have a small electronics repair company in st Louis Missouri you should do a case study on…. Haha just kidding it would be a 30 second video.

But hey from St Louis your being watched and enjoyed thanks for your hard work!

  8. Back in the early 90's my dad was buying Red Bull before it was call that from a local Asian store. I remember one time a cop pull him over because he saw him drinking it and thought my dad was taking alcohol in a small bottle in a car. He told them it was drink to boost his energy. The cop gave him a breathalyzer test and it was negative. LOL, At the end of the situation the cop ask my dad where he bought the drink because he want to try some.
