The Entrepreneur's Hangout
what country is he from? *curious*
Like the idea.
he seems a french guy, ….
Fucking useless talk.
What a great idea. More details at programmingworkout.com
Something to mix in with my physical workouts 🙂
(1st 17 mins a bit rambling, but it gets good from 17:15 on)
interesting. although your time would be better spent just creating
products, apps, websites, instead of merely “training”. so I’d add say
“train” but for a monetary benefit, or atleast further your career. When
you simply do some kind of random exercise nobody sees your
accomplishments. Better develop your portfolio.
That is the best fuckin’ mullet I have ever seen.
His shirt design looks so blurred out in contrast to the sharp picture its
freaking me out, never watch this shit when you’re high.
nice mullet
You can call it “working out” all you want, it’s just studying. You’ve
pretty much just spent 36 minutes to say: “If you want to excel in your
academics pursuits, then study.” Okay.
Hi! Thanks for your reply. I agree that the best idea is to focus on my
strengths, and for doing what I love which is RoR, I think I’m well on my
way, but as you may know, headhunters screen candidates with coding
exercises(during the early stages anyway), Therefore, I’ve found that being
strong in algorithms is a must. Of course I’m aware of sites like TopCoder,
p. Euler, etc, The Question is.. How do I start when even the easy ones are
giving me a Really HARD time? How can I make progress?
where would u start about programing if u really didnt know anything ?
I’m not sure yet what is the best place to start yet. I would probably go
with university lectures. It will be one of the subject of programming
workout in following weeks/months and then I will research it thoroughly.
Until that time try asking on twitter with #programmingworkout hashtag or
searching on quora or stack overflow. Btw. How are your challenges going? 😉
the site is called “Destroy All Software” with screencasts by Gary
Bernhardt, it’s really good stuff about testing and other topics, mostly
ruby and some python
As soon as he said he was responsible for porting Saints Row 2 from xbox to
PC I stopped. That was terrible and he should feel terrible.
said many valuable things once he starts at 17:15

I like how humble Michal is. Thank you for this speech. Just what I needed
and I already subscribed to programmingworkout. I have a Question, I’m
really hoping you could help me with some advice here. I’m good with Rails,
but as a Freelancer I’m failing to land jobs because of tough interview
Questions, ie. The last one was to solve a problem in codility.com
(strictly algorithms) What do you suggest I should do to improve this skill
in particular? Thanks in advance.
18:30 thank you 😛
Does this career take a lot of remembering, like for example do you have to
remember a lot of deferent types of codes
Baby einste
I can’t stand a speaker who smacks their lips like this guy does. I just
can’t watch this video.
implying programmers get invited to parties
Great talk :)!
appreciated 🙂 ….
Holy shit! I waste my time trying to clean my monitor at the ‘l’ character
from the Michał…
I think the idea of a workout is good… but one must be able to dedicate
time on some days a week to be able to do it. Will try and give it a shot
soon…
wasting time
BODY BUILDER TO PROGRAM BUILDER 🙂
I was hoping to see code and tricks in programming wtf is this?
remembering? not really, programming is a skill that with enough practices,
it’ll be carved into your mind permanently, though it’s also good to
remember a few codes function or even make a note of it
Eye opening . thank you! already join.
What was the name of the programmer with screen casts? I can’t seem to
Google it.
Hello! Thanks again for your reply. Regarding the Challenges, They’re
coming out really good, I must admit, It’s difficult to come up with a
concise list of 10 different goals, I have 3 which are really clear to me,
while the other ones may be just vague at this point. Connecting: like you
said it’s easier via Twitter, but, well… not so much to me since I don’t
use it :p Guess I’ll have to open an account, Anyways, I’m really Looking
forward to see how your project evolves! Thanks Michal!
this guy is good. he is really good. the advice that he gives are good ones.
Why is he trying to speak in English ??
John_D._Carmack ? the Doom programmer?

Thank You!
If your desire is to get some muscle and be stronger, you may want to
Google search for “Aston Muscle Ripper”. You are bound to get the
