  2. Schools have no ability to truly teach coding. If you haven’t learned it by
yourself before you’re at college age, you’re not going to be nothing more
than a mediocre programming monkey, which is in future equivalent simply to
    storage workers.
It’s never too late to learn the basics, but it’s already too late for you
to accomplish anything worthwhile in the field.
The key comes from coming up with simple ideas where you only need the
coding basics to succeed and pile of luck for it to take off. Like Angry
birds. 0.001% manage to do so.

  3. Coding is just loops and conditions. Everything else is just the eternal
battle to agree how to organise and exchange data.

  4. Do you have kids?

I have two small girls and this video is just one in a long line of ideas
of how I personally want my girls to grow up and what I want them to learn
in order to prosper in life.

  5. Hmm…. this makes me want to learn code, but I’ve never thought I was good
at math/coding. My bro’s good at it so he helped me learn HTML/CSS when I
was 10 onward, but I took a C++ class in college and the textbook hurt my
brain. Then I tried to code computer games and kept running into walls that
drove me mad, so I gave up. I didn’t know I had ADD, and now that I have
ADD medication, I wonder if I should reconsider… but, if I’m not that
good at it, should I bother? I do have ideas, but I’m no math whiz. My
games were pedagogic language-learning games – I also didn’t speak the
languages well enough, so that’s the other reason I quit. And trust me, I
studied those languages hard, but didn’t have the money to go overseas to
    become fully fluent.

  6. Outside at your home, there isn’t any place to work like a programmer, it
is very sad. I have a Bachelor’s Computers Science, I was a programmer in
my country, I don’t speak English like I want, I though here in US would be
different, but i was wrong, here or any place is the same thing. I am a
good programmer, very good, I have certifications but these things aren’t
enough for the companies, I must say that I am not a genius! Don’t
study this, thinking you are going to work like in microsoft, if you are
    not a prodigy!!

and none of us know how to read and write code. It’s important for these
kids, right now, starting at 8 years old, to read and write code.“

  8. I’m a septic tank installer. I don’t have Innovation; imagination, ideas
nor Intellect. Without me these folks would have poop all over their yard.
My Gramps said to me once…..” The world needs ditch diggers too.” So I
    got that going for me………..

  9. To do programming you need a special type of thinking. To be a good
designer you need another type of thinking, to be a businessman you need to
know the business or create it.

  10. ooh, somewhat motivating to get into computer science, not that i didn’t
wanted to get into it in the first place. Programming i find is fun and
very rewarding when you do something that you wanted it to do. =). For me,
i did not learn programming until i went into high school at age 13 or so.
Before that i wanted to be a Surgeon but i have no idea why i changed, i
think programming is the one best thing which has happened to me in a long
    time. Very rewarding :).

  11. Yeah, I never understood the schooling that schools teach. How about
classes on how to socialize, pick up and date the opposite sex, how to
negotiate to buy a car and house and stuff like that. You know…stuff
that most of us end up doing but are clumsy doing so because of no
instruction. Hopefully you have an educated father or mother who can shed
some light. All I know is the only thing I really learned in school was it
was all a fairly big waste of time. However, I did learn keyboarding
    (notice the long paragraph) :-)

  12. my son started to counts 3 languages when he was 7 months he said his
first word at age of 4 months, he learned all the multiplication tables
when he was 18 months and before that he was reading at age of 12
months 2 languages and he is 4 years old now and he reads and writes in
Arabic, Greek, Spanish , English , Japanese kanji, hiragana and katagana,
Russian and counts to millions in 4 languages, he knows algebra, sciences,
the periodic table elements , countries in the world and he just turn 4 :oD
I am so proud of my genius !!

  13. Very nice, gutted I can’t hear the audio properly! My friend has been
generating another income online after studying Online Gold Dynamo (Google
it). I earnt $765 yesterday lol.

  14. Most people go into programming thinking it will be easy…. it’s not. To
do good you really have to work and study hard, its not easy and it
requires a lot of studying, programming and thinking. If you do want to
become a developer though dont be discouraged! Just keep working at it!

  15. this is bullshit. corporate execs want to push programming degrees to
reduce wages. As someone with a programming degree, there is no shortage of
programmers, just a shortage of quality programmers who take low wages,
though India is working overtime to produce them, so that won’t last long
    either.

  16. youtube u piece of shit!! the more you change the more inconvenient and
stupid you are. This is the fucking place to view videos nobody has more
time to learn your new features everyday. Can you please roll back to where
you have 5 stars. What the fuck are u guys even thinking??? Maybe some one
should come up with another tube to replace you. fcuktube is even more
    convenient than you now….

  17. Personally I think that coding skills aren’t exclusively for computer
scientist. In the same way, sport isn’t exclusively for professionnal
athletes. Each one of us know how to practice at least a sport…
Even if it isn’t our job, it give us benefit !

  18. Very good info! and I agree!

  19. Yeah, I wish I’d have learned what is coding a lot sooner. 🙂 started in
university. I am coding for 3years now. Love it. since my first game I
    created. :)

  20. Watch this, it is pretty good stuff!!

  21. i got a mac when i was seven. i didnt get it. im not a huge tech fanatic. i
