When I first got into personal development, I didn’t even know what it is!

Truth is, I was basically forced into personal development because the boss of my first official sales job threatened I’d lose my job if I failed to listen to an audio book titled, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”.

However, after finally listening to the audiobook, I was hooked!

Personal development became drugs to me!

And from that moment forth, my personal/spiritual development journey had begun.

With that being said though, for someone like yourself who may have just discovered the power of personal development, or you may be someone looking for the next best book to read, here are my top 9 recommendations for self improvement books.

Each and every one of these books have played a significant role in my life and I know that if you took the time to read them, and put them into action, they will have a huge positive impact on your life.

Check them out.

  1. have read a great book, "Wiseman's Book" that really enriched my insight into and developed my relationship skills, career professionalism, social skills, and my life in general. It taught me how to act in a professional, respectful, and witty manner in numerous situations, from business meetings to everyday conversations. One very useful quote from the book, that i still live by everyday is one about Reputation "Defend your reputation at all costs… It is the only thing that will outlive you". Another very important concerning friendships, and careers is "Smile, shake their hands, look them in the eye an say something nice about the… And they will always remember you." This unique book helped me give everyone a good first impression. My dad always told me that you never get a second chance to leave the first impression. In conclusion, "Wiseman's book" will appraise you with original and powerful and wise lines that will have you reflect on your performance, and will help you succeed in your professional and personal life.

  2. You should make a counter video on how self help books are awful. Or do a review on the book f*ck feelings

  3. If you haven't read The Power of your Subconscious Mind, or Think and Grow rich, you haven't read self-help

  4. I already read 3 of them (the power of now, the seven habits of highly effective ppl and the alchemist) and they are also one of my favorites. now I'm excited to read the others 🙂 thanks for the tip!

  5. Thank you for your recommendations! I once read "The Power of Now" and at the beginning I found it very interesting. Actually the ideas in that book are interesting, but as I kept on reading I found maybe too complicated, like without much of a practical use: too much theory and heavy thinking. Although I am sure it has contributed a lot to others! I will probably give it another try in the future.

I would like to ask you if you know about Tim Ferris (sure u do!). He has a great book called "The 4 Hour Work Week". He also has a very interesting blog. I highly recommend his material to anyone working on personal growth.

I just bought 3 of the books you recommended and will start to read them soon. Thanks a lot for your contributions, Chris and Anthony!!
